• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tbsp baking powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp Chef Bae All-Purpose Seasoning
• 1 tsp sugar
• ½ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
• ¾ cup cold buttermilk
• 1–2 tbsp milk (for glossy finish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and Chef Bae Seasoning.
3. Cut in cold butter using a fork or pastry cutter until the mixture looks crumbly with pea-size butter pieces.
4. Pour in cold buttermilk and gently stir just until combined. Do not overmix.
5. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Gently fold the dough over itself 2–3 times for layers.
6. Pat dough to about 1-inch thickness.
7. Cut biscuits using a sharp cutter (press straight down — don’t twist).
8. Place biscuits close together on a baking sheet.
9. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until tall and golden.
10. As soon as they come out, lightly brush tops with warm milk for a glossy finish (no butter).![]()

Ingredients
• 1 cup stone-ground grits
• 4 cups water or chicken broth

Instructions
1. Bring water or broth to a boil. Slowly whisk in grits.
