Pour cold water into the unbaked pie crust.
Add Dry Ingredients:
In a small bowl, mix sugar, flour, and salt. Sprinkle evenly over the water in the crust. Do not stir.
Top with Butter & Vanilla:
Distribute cubed butter and vanilla over the top of the pie.
Bake the Pie:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 30 minutes.
Reduce heat to 375°F (190°C) and bake for an additional 30–35 minutes, until the top is golden and the filling has set.
Cool Before Serving:
Allow the pie to cool for 2–3 hours before slicing to let the filling fully set.
