Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 small onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons stir-fry sauce or hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Optional: sliced green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
Directions:
In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch until evenly coated. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
Add beef in a single layer and sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil to the pan, then stir-fry onion, garlic, and ginger for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add bell peppers and broccoli and cook for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.
Return beef to the pan and add stir-fry sauce and sesame oil.
Toss everything together for 1–2 minutes until glossy and well coated.
Serve hot over steamed rice or noodles, garnished as desired.
