A golden, cheesy, and flavorful twist on classic garlic bread



Step 1 – Prepare the Bread
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the baguette or Italian loaf in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Step 2 – Garlic Oil Base
In a small bowl, mix olive oil with minced garlic.
Brush or spoon this mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread.

Step 3 – Tomato & Cheese Layer
Distribute the diced tomatoes evenly over the bread.
Season lightly with salt, pepper, and oregano.
Top generously with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

Step 4 – Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
For an extra crispy top, switch to broil mode for the last 1–2 minutes — but watch closely to prevent burning!

Step 5 – Finish with Basil
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped basil.
Optionally drizzle with a touch of olive oil or balsamic glaze for a restaurant-style finish.
