- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan. 
- Spread the lemon pie filling evenly across the bottom of the pan. 
- Drop pieces of softened cream cheese over the lemon layer. 
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly on top. 
- Lay slices of butter evenly over the cake mix. 
- Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
