Cheesy Chicken Tacos: Gooey, Flavorful, and Crowd-Pleasing


Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Prepare Chicken:
    In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shredded chicken and season with cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir in taco sauce and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.

  • Assemble Tacos:
    Place tortillas in a foil pan, slightly overlapping if needed. Spoon the seasoned chicken evenly over the tortillas. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top. If using, add chopped onions and black olives.

  • Bake:
    Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Garnish and Serve:
    Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.
