In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or sausage with chopped onion and garlic.
Drain excess fat, then stir in tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5β10 minutes.
Layer the Lasagne:
In the slow cooker, spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
Add a layer of noodles, then a layer of ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and more meat sauce.
Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
Cook:
Cover and cook on Low for 4β5 hours or High for 2β3 hours, until noodles are tender and cheese is bubbly and melted.
Rest & Serve:
Let the lasagne rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
