In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar (or honey).
Gradually add milk, mixing until you have a sticky dough. If too dry, add more milk a little at a time.
Shape the Frybread
Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently roll it in flour.
Pinch off biscuit-sized pieces.
Lightly press each piece with your fingers, flatten slightly, and use your index finger to poke a hole in the center.
Fry the Bread
Heat a large, deep pan with enough oil for deep frying.
Fry 2–3 pieces at a time.
When edges turn golden, flip and fry the other side until golden brown.
Drain & Serve
