Mummy Hot Dogs

  1. Prep Oven & Dough:
    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out puff pastry or crescent dough on a lightly floured surface.

  2. Cut Strips:
    Cut the dough into thin strips, about 1/2 inch wide.

  3. Wrap Hot Dogs:
    Take each hot dog and wrap it with the dough strips, leaving small gaps to resemble a mummy’s bandages.

  4. Add Egg Wash:
    Place wrapped hot dogs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush lightly with beaten egg for a golden finish.

  5. Bake:
    Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

  6. Decorate Eyes:
    Once slightly cooled, use mustard or ketchup to dot small eyes on each mummy hot dog.
