My Guests Can’t Get Enough of These Cookies—They Vanish Almost Instantly!

🧾 Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips (optional, but highly recommended!)

👩‍🍳 How to Bake These Magical Cookies

1. Preheat & Prep

Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Cream Butter & Sugars

In a large bowl, beat softened butter with brown and granulated sugar until fluffy and  creamy.

3. Add Eggs & Vanilla

Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.

4. Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

5. Mix Wet & Dry

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.

6. Stir in Chocolate Chips

Fold in chocolate chips or your favorite mix-ins.

7. Scoop & Bake

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the edges are golden but the centers still look slightly soft.

8. Cool & Devour

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Watch them vanish!
