Weak kidneys cannot efficiently remove excess sodium and fluids. While resting at night, fluid may redistribute, causing swelling in the ankles, feet, or even around the eyes. Regular nighttime or morning swelling could indicate impaired kidney function.
4. Nighttime Cramps and Muscle Twitches
