Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Add onions and green peppers, sautéing until softened and slightly caramelized, about 5–7 minutes.

  • Cook the Steak:

    • Push the veggies to the side of the skillet.

    • Add the shaved steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently.

  • Combine:

    • Mix the cooked onions and peppers with the steak in the skillet.

    • Layer slices of cheese over the mixture, allowing it to melt.

  • Assemble the Sliders:

    • Slice the rolls in half and toast lightly if desired.

    • Spoon the steak and cheese mixture onto the bottom halves of the rolls.

    • Top with the remaining roll halves.

  • Serve:

    • Serve warm, optionally with mayo, ketchup, or hot sauce on the side.
