Seaside Comfort: Shrimp Scampi Pasta Bake

  1. Preheat & Cook Pasta: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente, drain, and set aside.

  2. Cook Shrimp: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic and red pepper flakes for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 3–4 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.

  3. Make Sauce: Pour white wine into the skillet, simmer 2 minutes while scraping up bits from the pan. Stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer.

  4. Combine Pasta & Sauce: Add cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Assemble Bake: Transfer pasta mixture to a baking dish. Arrange shrimp on top. Sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the dish.

  6. Bake: Bake for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. Garnish & Serve: Remove from oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
