Layer Ingredients in Slow Cooker:
Transfer the browned steaks to the slow cooker.
Spread the sliced onions and minced garlic over the top.
Add the Sauce:
In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
Pour the mixture over the steak and onions.
Cook Slowly:
Cover and cook on Low for 7–8 hours or High for 4 hours, until the meat is tender and the onions are caramelized.
Optional – Thicken Gravy:
For a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with water to make a slurry and stir it into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
