Add eggs, chopped onions, and peppers to the bowl.
Stir in cornmeal, salt, garlic powder, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and black pepper.
Crumble the slice of bread and add it to the mixture.
Gently mix everything together without overworking.
3. Adjust Consistency
If the mixture is too wet to form patties, gradually add flour until it holds together.
4. Cook the Patties
Heat a skillet over medium heat with a little oil or butter.
Form salmon mixture into patties and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
5. Serve
Serve hot with tartar sauce, a squeeze of lemon, or as a sandwich in a bun.
