Steak Pizzaiola – Tender Steak in a Flavorful Tomato Sauce

  • Season the steak with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.

  • Make the Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, sauté garlic and onion until softened.

    • Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
