Taco Rice with Queso Drizzle

Cook the Rice: Prepare rice according to package instructions using 2 cups of water. Set aside.

Cook the Onion & Beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and cook until translucent. Add ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Once browned, drain any excess fat.

Add Seasoning & Beans: Stir in taco seasoning with 1/4 cup water and let it simmer for a few minutes. Add black beans and stir until warmed through.

Assemble the Dish: Place a portion of cooked rice on each plate. Top with the beef and bean mixture.

Add Cheese & Queso: Drizzle queso sauce over each serving and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

Garnish & Serve: Finish with chopped green onions and fresh cilantro. Serve hot.
