As they were about to leave, they encountered Benson, a 4-year-old pit bull. He walked back to them with his tail tucked between his legs, as if he had completely lost trust in humans.

The Robinson family asked about Benson, and the shelter staff shared that he had endured a truly terrible life.

After being used in dog fights, he had been abandoned on the streets, where volunteers eventually rescued him.

Before being taken in by a couple, Benson spent some time at the dog shelter. However, after just two weeks, they returned Benson to the shelter, claiming he had behavioral issues and was aggressive towards his owners.

Despite the volunteers’ warnings that Benson should not be around children, he was adopted anyway.

Mr. Robinson requested a chance for Benson. They eventually made it home, even though Benson was not fond of being on a leash, and getting to the car proved to be a challenge.

Initially, Benson was quite nervous, quiet, and withdrawn. However, as time passed, he managed to adjust and form connections with each family member, particularly Matias.
