- Bring the 3 cups of water to a boil.
- Add the ginger, cinnamon stick, cloves, turmeric, and cayenne.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea.
- Stir in the lemon juice.
- Drink while warm.
