Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Cook Sausage
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces. Drain excess fat.
3. Prepare Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until smooth. Fold in cheddar cheese if using.
4. Assemble Crescents
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
Roll up toward the narrow end and pinch edges to seal.
