Big Boy’s Fresh Strawberry Pie

  • Preheat your oven according to the pie crust package instructions and prepare the crust in a 9-inch pie pan.

  • Prepare the Filling:

    • In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and water.

    • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and translucent.

    • Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry jelly until smooth.

  • Assemble the Pie:

    • Pour a small layer of the filling into the prepared crust.

    • Arrange fresh strawberries over the bottom layer.

    • Pour the remaining filling over the strawberries, gently smoothing it out.

  • Chill & Serve:

    • Refrigerate the pie for at least 2–3 hours, until fully set.

    • Slice and serve chilled for the best flavor.
