Classic Meatloaf Dinner with Mashed Potatoes and Veggies

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

  3. Shape into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish.

  4. Spread a thin layer of ketchup on top for a glaze.

  5. Bake for 55–65 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

2. Make the Mashed Potatoes

  1. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15–20 minutes.

5. Cook the Peas and Carrots

  1. Steam or boil peas and carrots until tender, about 5–7 minutes.

  2. Toss with butter and season with salt and pepper.

  1. Slice the meatloaf and serve alongside mashed potatoes, gravy, roasted broccoli, and peas and carrots for a complete, hearty meal.
