Classic One-Pot Goulash

  1. Cook the Beef: In a large pot or Dutch oven, brown ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

  2. Add Vegetables: Stir in onions, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add Liquids and Seasonings: Pour in water, beef broth, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

  4. Cook the Pasta: Add elbow macaroni. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.

  5. Serve: Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Serve hot, garnished with shredded cheese if desired.
