Classic Southern Dinner: Salmon Patties, Soup Beans, Cornbread, Mustard Greens & Fried Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cornmeal

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 4 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking pan.

  2. In a bowl, mix dry ingredients. In another, combine milk, oil, and egg.

  3. Stir wet into dry until just combined.

  4. Pour into pan and bake 20–25 minutes until golden.
