  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

  2. Add the egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until a soft dough forms.

  3. Knead the dough gently until smooth.

  4. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into round discs (about ¼-inch thick).
